If you are a family on the East Side of St. Paul affected by the ongoing ICE occupation you may be eligible for rental assistance. See below for stipulations and how to apply.

*YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE KEPT SECURE AND ONLY SHARED WITH PARTNERS IN CHARGE OF DISTRIBUTION

Eligibility Criteria 

Families must meet all of the following:

  • Renting 

  • Demonstrated risk of eviction within 30 days- this could just be getting behind on rent

  • Income disruption due to ICE occupation

  • Not receiving full rental coverage from another program for the same month

  • Have children that attend a East Side St Paul Public School

     ELIGIBLE SCHOOLS

Distribution

  • Direct payment to landlord/property manager whenever possible

  • If full rent cannot be covered, partial aid is still distributed (unless landlord refuses partials)

  • Funds will be administered on a rolling basis as funds are avalible

  • Priority will be given to families facing immediate eviction

This fund is for emergency relief, not ongoing assistance

Purpose & Scope

  • Emergency rent-only assistance

  • For families facing imminent housing loss (late notice, threat of eviction, eviction filing)

  • Covers current or immediately upcoming month only

  • One-time assistance per household 

Fundraising Structure

  • Funds are distributed as quickly as possible to meet needs and will be dispersed as needed

  • When resources are limited, priority is given to families facing immediate risk of eviction
